What is PLA? PLA molecules are derived from corn instead of fossil fuels. 

PLA can break down fully, back into organic molecules thus is biodegradable/compostable. Composting is part of the infinite, circular, cycle of nature life. All straws are commercially compostable & decompose within 12 weeks. This is because commercial facilities can guarantee at least 60 degree heat at all times allowing for a swift decomposition.

At all Burger Burger restaurants, we are now plastic straw-free thanks to our mates at Innocent Packaging. We’re doing our bit where we can to move away from a single-use plastic environment, and hope you can too.
